Then It's Time To Dig And Fix The ROOT CAUSE!
What Is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory, mood issues and a variety of other symptoms (see above). Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain processes pain signals.

Symptoms sometimes begin after a physical trauma, surgery, infection, or significant psychological stress. In other cases, symptoms gradually accumulate over time with no single triggering event.

Women are more likely to develop fibromyalgia than are men. Many people who have fibromyalgia also have tension headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety and depression.
What Causes Fibromyalgia?
Gut Dysfunction
Most of your immune system resides within GI system. The trillions of bacteria that live in your gut comprise a delicate environment called the microbiome. When this system is out of balance this affects your entire system and can lead to (or just worsen) fibromyalgia symptoms. Many people struggling with fibromyalgia have undetected gut issues such as:
  •  Food Sensitivities / Intolerances
  •  Candida Overgrowth
  •  Infections / Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)
  •  Leaky Gut
Most fibromyalgia sufferers have at least one of these gut conditions and addressing these issues directly can help people begin to feel like themselves again.
Nutrient Deficiencies
Nutrient deficiencies are epidemic in the U.S. Everything from Vitamin D (lack of sunlight) to B-Vitamins (too much stress).

Did you know that roughly 40% of the U.S. is gluten intolerant?

This is why we food test our patients, however, if you ARE one of the 40% who is gluten intolerant, guess what happens? The gluten destroys your small intestine. The gluten (i.e. GLUE) is like sandpaper coming through your digestive system and it carves off the villi in your small intestine!

Your small intestine is where you ABSORB YOUR NUTRIENTS! Then what happens is you become nutrient deficient. And the research shows that it's the DEFICIENCIES that can lead to over 200 different conditions.
Toxins
We’re all bombarded with toxins every day – high fructose corn syrup, nitrates, preservatives, MSG, trans fats, colors, dyes, artificial sweeteners, environmental toxins etc. This constant toxin exposure can take a toll on your health. The body is resilient and can handle a certain level, but at some point we begin to simply break down.

This is why we do true cellular detox in our clinics. We MUST deflame and detox the body at the cellular level.
Other Causes...
Are there other potential causes of fibromyalgia? Sure. Candida overgrowth, adrenal fatigue, thyroid challenges etc...however, our experience has been that if we can fix the GUT, fill in any vitamin / nutrient deficiencies, detox / deflame the body then we'll achieve a great clinical outcome.
What About Nutrients?
Another important aspect of what we do is that we test for nutrient deficiencies as well. Nutrient deficiencies are epidemic in the U.S. Everything from Vitamin D (lack of sunlight) to B-Vitamins (too much stress). In addition to testing how you react to foods, we also test to determine if you have any nutrient deficiencies.

Watch this now...

Did you know that roughly 40% of the U.S. is gluten intolerant?

We will let you know if you are via the food testing, however, if you ARE one of the 40% who is gluten intolerant, guess what happens? The gluten destroys your small intestine.
Quick Video On Nutrient Deficiencies
The gluten (i.e. GLUE) is like sandpaper coming through your digestive system and it literally carves off the villi in your small intestine!

Your small intestine is where you ABSORB MOST OF YOUR NUTRIENTS! Then what happens is you become nutrient deficient. And the research shows that it's the DEFICIENCIES that can lead to over 200 different conditions.

Digestive Challenges - Migraines - Chronic Fatigue - Autoimmune Conditions - Hormone Problems - ADHD - Infertility

ALL linking back to GLUTEN!
Our Approach Is Unique & Different!
We Don't Guess...We Test!
Our clinic is different. We don't simply make the symptom with a medication. We're going to dig, find, & FIX the root cause of the health challenge. We're going to do the appropriate TESTING (foods, nutrients, etc.) that will give us a better picture of exactly what's going on.

Make sense?

Let's take a quick look at a food test that we often perform on patients.
Above is an example food test report (graph) so we know exactly what foods to remove, for how long, and how to re-introduce!

By "Food Testing" you are:
  •  Reducing Overall INFLAMMATION
  •  Giving The IMMUNE SYSTEM a Break
  •  Giving The DIGESTIVE SYSTEM a Break
Like we talked about we may also test for nutrient deficiencies. Research also shows a correlation between deficiencies and fibromyalgia.

The key thing to understand is this. We don't just "mask the symptom" with a drug that you'll be on forever. We do some simple testing (in-office) that tell us A LOT of information about how you're FUNCTIONING. From there we can develop a NATURAL plan of attack!
